Estate planning is not just paperwork. It is a decision about who takes care of the people you love, what happens to everything you have built, and how you want to be remembered. We help you make those decisions clearly and confidently, and put them in writing so they hold up when it matters most.
All services are available for individuals and couples. Couples receive a discounted rate when planning together.
Not sure where to start? Book a free 30-minute call. No pressure, no commitment. Just a conversation.
Not sure where to start with your estate plan? The Estate Clarity Session is a focused, one-on-one consultation where you can pick my brain; ask questions and get clear, practical guidance tailored to your situation, no pressure, no jargon, all for a flat fee of $300 + HST.
We can cover topics like:
Trusts: whether an inter vivos or testamentary trust makes sense for your family or assets
Title Transfers: what it means to add or remove someone from a property title, and the legal and tax implications
Will Updates: when and why your existing will may need a refresh (marriage, new assets, changing family dynamics)
Joint Ownership: the difference between joint tenancy and tenants in common, and which structure protects you
Whether you're just starting to think about your estate or you have something specific in mind, this session gives you a lawyer in your corner for an hour.
For individuals and couples who want to get the core documents in place: a will, powers of attorney, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing your wishes are on paper and legally sound.
Starting from $500 + HST (individual) | $700 + HST(couple)
What you get:
Will, drafted to reflect your specific wishes and circumstances
Power of Attorney for Property
Power of Attorney for Personal Care
Affidavits of Execution
Comprehensive estate inventory to help your executor identify and locate your assets
Periodic estate plan review check-ins
Starting from $800 (individual) + HST | $1,000 (couple) + HST
For clients with more complex situations: blended families, minor children, significant assets, specific funeral wishes, or anyone who wants a complete plan rather than individual documents.
Everything in the Essentials Package, plus:
Detailed executor memo covering matters beyond what a will can address
Specified funeral and burial instructions, documented clearly so your family is not making difficult decisions under pressure
Detailed guardian memo (for clients with minor children) with instructions for caregivers that go beyond the scope of a will
A will is the foundation of any estate plan. Without one, Ontario law decides who receives your assets and who raises your children. We draft wills that clearly reflect your wishes and hold up to scrutiny, so your family is protected no matter what happens.
If you become unable to make decisions for yourself, a power of attorney ensures someone you trust steps in rather than a court-appointed stranger. We help you choose the right person, understand their responsibilities, and put documents in place that work when they need to.
A Power of Attorney for Property authorizes someone you trust - called your attorney - to manage your financial affairs on your behalf.
This includes paying bills, managing bank accounts, dealing with investments, and handling real estate transactions. It can take effect immediately or only if you become mentally incapable of managing your own finances, depending on how it is drafted.
A Power of Attorney for Personal Care authorizes someone you trust to make personal decisions on your behalf if you become mentally incapable of making them yourself.
This includes decisions about your health care, medical treatment, housing, diet, and personal safety.
Unlike a Property POA, this document only comes into effect when you are no longer able to make these decisions independently
A trust can be a powerful tool in your estate plan, helping you protect assets, provide for loved ones, and ensure your wishes are carried out with clarity and care.
We assist clients with the drafting and establishment of:
Testamentary trusts - created through your will to provide for beneficiaries after your passing
Spousal trusts - ensuring your partner is provided for while protecting assets for future beneficiaries
Simple inter vivos trusts - living trusts established during your lifetime for asset protection and succession planning
We commission and notarize affidavits, statutory declarations, and other legal documents for use in Ontario and abroad. If you need documents certified for use in another country, including through the apostille process, we can help navigate the requirements.

Certified true copies
Invitation letters to Canada
Cross-border and international documents, including powers of attorney for use in Macedonia, Serbia, and beyond
Apostille and authentication support for documents destined for foreign jurisdictions
